Crab Pickin’ Tour

The Crab Pickin’ Tour is offered from March through October during the crab season.


Cost $60.00 per person Based on a Minimum of 25 Eastern Shore Crab Pickin Tour

10:00 am Arrive and pick up Tour Guide at Union United Methodist Church Hall 200 Fremont Street learn to make crab cakes, pocketbook rolls and other Traditional Eastern Shore fare from the Ladies of the Church and enjoy a snack.

11:00 am: Travel to Bay Hundred Seafood for a tour of the last Crab Picking house left in Talbot County. Bring a cooler and purchase fresh picked Crab Meat and other seafood to take home in the seafood market.

11:45 am: Travel back to the Union United Methodist Church for a home cook lunch

1:00 pm: Driving tour of St. Michaels with a visit to the St. Michaels Winery for a 5 wine tasting

2:15 pm: a 1 hour Boat Cruise on Board the Patriot for a scenic cruise past the beautiful waterfront mansions along the Miles River.

3:30 pm: Free time to explore St. Michaels on your own.

5:00 pm Depart for Home

1:00 pm: Depart for St. Michaels Driving Tour of the Town that Fooled the British and tour of Christ Church

2:15 pm: 1 hour Patriot Cruise on the Miles River

4:00 pm: Arrive at Town Dock Restaurant for Dessert

5:00 pm: Depart for home

Travel to Tilghman’s Island for a tour of the Island
Visit Phillips Wharf Environmental Center and learn about the animals that live in the Bay

11:45 am: Enjoy Lunch at Harrison’s Chesapeake House an Eastern Shore Tradition

1:00 pm: Travel back to St. Michaels for Free time

2:15 pm: Board the Patriot for a 1 hour history Nature cruise on the Miles River.

3:30 pm: Free time

5:00 pm: Depart for Home.

1:00 pm: Lunch at The Crab Claw restaurant. Originally a clam-shucking and crab-picking business, in 1965 it became a restaurant specializing in delectable fresh seafood in a casual setting just a stone’s throw of the water.

2:15 pm: Board the Patriot for a 1 hour cruise on the Miles River

3:30 pm: Depart St. Michaels and travel to the Town of Oxford

4:00 pm: Driving tour of Oxford, the first port of entry in the Tidewater area

4:30 pm: Ice Cream! A yummy stop at the Scottish Highland Creamery

5:30 pm: Depart for Home
